Women's Healthcare Partners consists of one board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist, a Certified Nurse-Midwife and one Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, supported by a team of experienced medical professionals. Our team is here to provide a compassionate friendly environment to meet every woman's healthcare needs.
Elizabeth Ottman, MD, FACOG grew up in Circleville, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Akron and Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed her residency at the University of Louisville. Dr Ottman has 22 years of experience and has provided care to hundreds of women in the Western Kentucky area. She loves sharing that special experience with her patients and their families. Her interests include both low and high-risk Obstetrics and treating gynecologic problems with minimally invasive surgery. She also enjoys improving medical use of ultrasound by maintaining her credentialing with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Dr. Ottman enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Lisa Wimsatt, APRN, CNM, FNP was born in Owensboro. Lisa graduated from Henderson Community College and Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. She completed her Midwifery training at Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing receiving a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Case Western University. Lisa is also a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Lisa has over twenty years experience in women's health. Lisa partners with her patients empowering them to be an active participant in their healthcare. She cares for women of all ages and has special interest in natural family planning, adolescent care and menopause. Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her large family, cheering for the University of Louisville and travelling.
Misty Powers, APRN, WHNP was born and raised in Owensboro. Misty played basketball at Wabash Valley College and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. Misty spent nearly a decade providing care to laboring women and their families as a labor and delivery nurse. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science in Nursing and is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Her interests include general gynecology, family planning, prenatal care and STD treatment and prevention. When she has free time, Misty enjoys golfing, watching UK basketball, spending time with her husband and friends and chasing her two growing boys.
Susan Johnson, APRN, CNM, was born in Owensboro and grew up in the small town of Philpot, KY. It was here that she developed a sincere appreciation for the beauty of nature and the closeness of family. Susan graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Afterwards, Susan spent 16 years providing care to laboring women and their families as a labor and delivery nurse. She graduated from Frontier Nursing Univeristy with a Master of Science in Nursing and is a board-certified Nurse Midwife. She is married, has four beautiful sons, and enjoys camping with her family. Susan is excited about bringing more options for midwifery care to Owensboro, KY.
